Emotional Freedom Technique
A Needle Free Version of Acupuncture
"Genuine emotional freedom, always available at your fingertips."
~ Gary Craig
What Is EFT?
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a psychological acupressure technique based on the same energy meridians used in traditional acupuncture to treat physical and emotional ailments. A Stanford Engineer, Gary Craig, designed and developed this powerful technique in 1995.
Gary Craig describes the basic principle behind his work: “The cause of all emotional problems is a disruption in the body’s energy system”.
The primary function of EFT is to release the disruptions in the energy system by tapping on the specific acupuncture points.
Why Is It Good For Me?
EFT is a simple, quick & relatively painless. It can be self-administered by anyone without prior knowledge about meridians. While you are thinking about a specific problem (whether it is a traumatic event, an addiction, pain, etc.) you tap with your fingertips on specific meridians and repeat positive affirmations.
Tapping the energy meridians and repeating positive affirmations work to clear emotional blocks, which restore your mind and body’s balance. This is essential for optimal health and healing of physical disease.
Because of the simplicity and effectiveness of EFT, I show my clients how to apply this technique on themselves during any session.
