DESCRIPTION:“The mountains are not a place to scape from life\, but a place to find meaning in it.” ~ Jamie Anderson\n \nThroughout human history\, cultures have revered certain mountains as sacred living beings with the ability to activate our connection with the divine\, to trigger a sense of inner peace\, to receive spiritual messages\, and to be initiated in the path of a higher service\, as in the case of the Peruvian tradition. \nJoin us to explore the land of the sacred Middle Mountain (AKA Sutter Buttes\,) recognized as the “world’s smallest mountain range.” They contain a ten-mile wide circle of volcanic peaks that are dramatically isolated in the center of the Sacramento Valley. \nPrior to the Gold Rush era\, the Sacramento Valley\, specifically the Yuba Sutter region\, was the homeland of the Maidu and Wintun native people\, who considered this land a “sacred” place of deep respect and spiritual and physical sustenance. \nCeremonial cacao has been used for centuries and in many cultures as a healing ally to release heavy emotions locked in the body\, while activating the sacred heart center. Cacao is known as a heart-opener due to it’s many active ingredients such as Theobromine. DESCRIPTION:The Day of Vesak commemorates Buddha’s birth\, enlightenment\, and death. This annual celebration occurs on the day of the Full Moon iis year is on May 12th during the lunation in Scorpio. \nOn this day\, we celebrate the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama\, known as Buddha (enlightened one) who spread compassion\, peace and goodwill to all life. His teachings are acknowledged worldwide for over 2\,500 years through the practice of Buddhism. \nA Labyrinth is a pattern of pathways that weave in a circle to arrive to its center. A labyrinth walking meditation consist of entering a labyrinth\, following its path to the center and exiting the way we came. This quiet walk or moving meditation helps us to integrate body\, mind\, and spirit. The labyrinth represents our life’s path\, walked in a state of self-reflection and awareness. During this meditative walk we take a self-discovery journey of the values that guide our lives. \nCeremonial Cacao has been used for centuries in many cultures as a healing ally to let go of heavy emotions locked in the body\, while activating the sacred heart center. \nOur time together will be dedicated to stepping into the threshold of ritual\, magic and transformation by receiving the gift of Ceremonial Cacao as a “heart opener” from where we can become the container of Love.
