SUMMARY:MIDDLE MOUNTAIN NATURE'S RENEWAL WALK!
DESCRIPTION:“Nature is the source of all true knowledge.” ~ Leonardo Da Vinci\n \nThroughout human history\, cultures have revered certain mountains as sacred living beings with the ability to activate our connection with the divine\, to trigger a sense of inner peace\, to receive spiritual messages\, and to be initiated in the path of a higher service\, as in the case of the Peruvian tradition. \nJoin us to explore the land of the sacred Middle Mountain (AKA Sutter Buttes\,) recognized as the “world’s smallest mountain range.” They contain a ten-mile wide circle of volcanic peaks that are dramatically isolated in the center of the Sacramento Valley. \nPrior to the Gold Rush era\, the Sacramento Valley\, specifically the Yuba Sutter region\, was the homeland of the Maidu and Wintun native people\, who considered this land a “sacred” place of deep respect and spiritual and physical sustenance. \nFrom ancient times\, people have gathered to perform ceremonies and rituals to create a sense of belonging to the divine\, to offer reverence to Mother Nature and the cycles of life\, to deepen the relationship with their community\, to cultivate the feeling of unity\, connection\, continuity\, devotion and much more. \nDuring our time together\, we’ll participate in sacred Andean rituals to honor the season of Spring\, a time of balance\, renewal\, and vitality. Connecting with the natural cycles of Mother Nature and the sacredness of the Middle Mountain reminds us we are all interconnected as being part of the whole\, and we are welcome to take our place in the sacred web of life. \nEnergy Exchange: $65 (non-refundable but transferable for this event only) \nPre-Registration is needed as this hike is limited to 15 people! \nYou can pay through Zelle: ma@fyspirit.com \nPlease add $2 more to enjoy your full contribution with\nVenmo: account.venmo.com/u/freeyourspirit OR PayPal:  paypal.me/mariscelaalvarez\nBe sure it is sent to Free Your Spirit\, which is my “business” account. \nQuestions and more information with Mariscela at 530-863-0003\, ma@fyspirit.com \n\nIMPORTANT TO KNOW ABOUT THIS SACRED WALK: \n\nThis is a hiking activity for women\, men\, and children 12 and up.\nThis is a moderate hiking\, 2 to 3 miles and generally less than 600 feet elevation gain/loss.\nWe’ll have 2 to 3 guides hiking with us and sharing their wisdom.\nWe ask you to be on time at the meeting place (before 8 am is appreciated.)\nWear comfortable walking shoes with good tread/traction (sneakers are not recommended.)\nFeel free to bring hiking or walking sticks.\nBring a backpack containing your lunch\, snacks and water.\nBring any sacred item(s) you’d like to carry and place on the altar.\nBring anything else you might consider necessary.\nIn case of rain or cancellation on our part\, you will be notified the morning of the walk\, and your payment will be fully refunded.\nInvite and bring your friends!\n\nNote: Our dearest friend\, Stan Padilla\, will be our main guide from whom we will learn a respectful\nreverence for life and the special place the Sutter Buttes hold for local Native Americans!
